How does EDEGRA work?

Edegra dilates arteries in the penis and facilitates blood flow. As the penis hardens, blood flow is restricted out of the penis, which results in an erection. With the help of Edegra, the erection is maintained for a longer time. The tablet takes thirty minutes to one hour to work in the body. The active ingredient in Edegra is Sildenafil Citrate, the same in Pfizer’s VIAGRA. But it differs slightly in its color, size or shape.

How to take EDEGRA?

Take one tablet one hour before you plan to have sex. However, Edegra may be taken anywhere from 4 hours to 5 hours before sexual activity. Don’t take more than one tablet in 24 hours. Edegra comes in strengths of 50mg and 100mg. Most patients can start with 50mg. Even if you take Edegra, you still need physical and mental stimulation and desire to have an erection. Isosorbide Mononitrate (brand names: Monotrate, Vasotrate, Ismo, Imdur, Angicor).
Isosorbide dinitrate (brand names: Sorbitrate, Isordil).
Sublingual nitroglycerin tablets or spray (brand names: Angised, Angispan, GTN spray).
Transdermal nitroglycerin patches or ointments (brand names: Top nitro, Nitroderm TTS, Myovin).

The use of these drugs with Edegra can lead to severe complications such as drop of blood pressure to unsafe level.
